I've just read another report claiming the US has attacked another wedding in Iraq. Please forgive me for my ignorance but, how does this help win the war, or even more mind boggling is the answer to this question, how does this win over the hearts and minds?

Did anyone else see that story about US helicopters killing a crowd of Iraqi's who were demonstrating around a destroyed US vehicle? More to the point, is anyone surprised they didn't hear about it?

The US military says they were trying to scatter looters, well I suppose nothing scatters looters (and their body parts) better than helicopter machine-gun fire. Whatever happened to tear gas?
